Please note that, following a review of your submission and a visual inspection, from the street, I am pleased to advise that approval for this maintenance and safety work is not required.

Subject: Notification: Tree Management Plan 40 Delamere Cres Trevallyn

Good afternoon,

Please find attached site and a link to context images relevant to our tree management plan for 40 Delamere Cres Trevallyn. Our purpose is to reduce the risk that is currently presenting itself in regard to the trees on our property and conceivably endangering either our dwelling or our neighbour’s dwelling.

It is not our purpose to remove the risk as that would involve removing the trees entirely or an unacceptable proportion of them.

When we spoke on the phone you requested an ‘Arborist’s Report’. Given the cost involved in supplying such a report and the fact that:

• you indicated that Council would not be accepting it on face value; and
• Council would be sending its own arborist to access our management plan;

we have not commissioned the report you requested as it would cost as much for the kind of report you seek as it is likely to cost for the arborist to carry the plan out.

Alternatively, I am providing an outline of our plan online, made in consultation with our preferred arborist, along with contextual images to assist you in your appraisal of the plan. See https://rn40delameretrees.blogspot.com.au/

In the event that you intend to send an arborist to do a site inspection please have her/him call in advance on the number below to make arrangements for the visit.

I look forward to your early response in order that we can secure our arborist’s service and get on with the work that needs to be done.
